Shaw University Library Resource Proxy

EZProxy provides remote access to library resources licensed for use by Shaw University students and faculty. If you are accessing library information from off campus, you will need to enter your Shaw University Student Network (shawbears.com) or Faculty Network (shawu.edu) username and password. You must be a current student or faculty member of Shaw University in order to use this application

This application will not send your shawbears.com or shawu.edu login information to any remote site. This application will not send your shawbears.com or shawu.edu login information to any remote site. If you are on Main or a Cape campus, you will not need to login. If you are off-campus (Main Campus or Cape campus) please login using your username and password provide to you by Shaw University.

For Students:

Use your student ID# for the username, and the associated PIN as the password. (These are the same credentials you use to get to Bearsnet, the same password you use for your @bears.shawu.edu email.)

For Faculty and Staff:

Use the prefix only of your shawu.edu as the 'Username' (e.g. 'yourname' for yourname@shawu.edu)
